Meet Ted our school dog!

We are proud to have a school dog called Ted.  The children, staff and parents love him and regularly stop by to say hello and give him a fuss!  Ted is a valuable member of the Greenfields team and is very busy most of the time!

Before Ted was allowed to come into school a full risk assessment and interaction guidelines were developed and agreed by the school governors.  We were pleased to welcome the Dogs Trust into school prior to Ted starting to teach all of our children how to approach and interact with dogs.

We seek permission from all parents to allow their child to interact with Ted.  Without written permission no children will be allowed to interact with Ted.  All interaction with Ted has to be undertaken with a lead adult.  For further details please click on the policy and risk assessment at the bottom of this page.
