Computing at Greenfields

Technology is ever evolving at a rapid pace and impacts the lives of everyone. With this in mind, it is our intent that all children will be equipped with the skills needed to participate in this rapidly changing world. It is also our intention that children will be provided with a high-quality computing education that will encourage and challenge computational thinking and creativity in how to adapt to these changes. It is important to us that the children understand how to use the ever-changing technology to express themselves, as tools for learning and as a means to drive the next generation forward.

Computing has deep links within a range of subjects such as, Math’s, Science and should nurture children’s natural curiosity, allowing them to ask questions and develop skills that they need to answer these questions. Through the teaching of Computing, we aim to support the children as they develop an understanding of the process and methods of computing.
