In Oak Trees we will begin the term by exploring the world around us. We will learn about the different continents of the world and their surrounding oceans. Using various maps, atlases and globes to support our understanding. Next, we will zoom in closer, looking at different countries of the world. We will discuss different climates, looking at its locality to the equator and which landmarks/features we might find in each. Finally, we will explore and compare two contrasting countries, using all of our knowledge to look at similarities and differences.
