Learning Experience 9- Daring Dragons! For our cold tasks we were challenged to create a dragon with a moving mouth. Here are our very first attempts! Watch this space to see how much progress we make as we learn more about different materials and moving mechanisms!
Learning Experience 8- Glorious Gardens! Our hot tasks turned out brilliantly. Thank you to the parents who came into class to look at them. You can also see some displayed in the church.

Learning Experience 8- Glorious Gardens! We have started our new Easter-based Learning Experience. We started off with a treasure hunt to collect clues which then created a puzzle. Once we put the puzzle together it told us that we needed to “create an Easter garden” for our cold task. Here are some of our completed gardens!

We have had lots of fun creating music for our houses in our ‘House Harmonies’ learning experience. Look at the video resource centre to watch our hot and cold tasks!
Learning Experience 6- Colour Chaos! We loved learning about different artists and recreating lots of their paintings! Ask us about Kandinsky or Mondrian and we will tell you all about their art work.
We have loved learning all about Rio and London this term. We celebrated the end of this learning experience by having our very own Rio Carnival in class!

We really enjoyed celebrating Remembrance Day in Willow Tree Class. Well done to everyone who made an excellent effort to dress up! We had some fantastic costumes.

Thank you to all the parents who came and helped us make our poppies in Willow Tree Class. It was a great start to our new learning experience- ‘Poppies for Peace’.
We had lots of fun celebrating Harvest in Willow Trees. We worked together and used different artistic techniques to make our very own fruit bowl!
We have learnt about how coding a bee-bot is the same as giving it really clear instructions. In our literacy lessons, we drew and wrote our own instructions about how to make a jam sandwich. We then got to follow our partner's instructions to make our own jam sandwiches. Our favourite part was, of course, eating them!
Learning Experience 2- Busy Bee-Bots. We have made an excellent start to our new learning experience. The children in willow trees have been working together to code their bee-bots and have shown amazing teamwork skills!
Learning Experience 1- And Sew It Begins. Look at our amazing hot tasks!! Our sewing skills have improved so much since the beginning of this learning experience and we are so proud of our final creations!

We have had a brilliant start to the term in Willow Tree class. Everyone has settled in really well and we've had lots of fun in our first week back!
