This term in Science, we are going to be exploring forces. We will explore what the difference is between a push and pull force and that every force is a push or a pull. We will explore what happens when an object travels across a surface and what force affects it. Following this, we will then explore how forces in magnets work and how objects may be affected by a magnetic field, as well as the poles on a magnet and how they act around each other. 

We loved exploring what forces are used on our playground equipment and beginning to understand how friction can be affected by the material on the surface of an object!

Exploring the UK

Exploring the United Kingdom.pdf

This term in our Learning Experience, we will be exploring the UK, looking at what countries make up the UK, how it is divided into regions and the major cities within those regions. We will then begin to explore what the land mass is like across the UK and how this can affect the region and major cities in that area. We will then begin to explore how the varied land masses affect the population within these areas. 

We loved practising jumping and hopping with control during PE!

We looked at how a sentence is formed and had a go at unscrambling sentences so that they make sense!
