Extra Curricular Clubs

EXTRA CURRICULAR CLUBS

Important information:

 

We are pleased to offer the following activity clubs after school in Term 5 and 6.  

PLEASE READ the description of each club carefully to check your child is eligible. 

- ALL Clubs finish at 4.15pm.
- All spaces are allocated on a first come, first serve basis.
We will only contact you if your child does not get a place.
- Any child that misses out on a space will be placed on a waiting list.
- Any applications after the deadline will be placed on the waiting list.
- Monday Football Squad Training and Friday Cricket Club are invitation only so will not appear on this form.
- If your child is given a space, but does not attend the club for two consecutive weeks without an appropriate reason their place will be given to someone on the waiting list.
- Collection points are shown next to the club title. Please use the normal one way system for this. 
Year 5 and 6 Parents must give/decline separate Walking home permission for clubs at the end of the form.
The DEADLINE for applications this term is 9am on Monday 25th April.  CLUBS will begin from Monday 25th April

Monday

Year 1 and 2 Reading Club (16 spaces) Oak Tree class

Spend time exploring new stories through shared reading, activities and conversation.

 

Year 3 to 6 Reading Club (40 spaces) Chestnut Tree class

Spend time exploring new stories through shared reading, activities and conversation.

 

Year 5 and 6 Tennis Club (16 spaces) Main gate

Learn how to combine your hitting skills and dynamic movement from PE into the game of Tennis!

 

Tuesday

Year R Art Outside (30 spaces) Apple Tree class

Explore your creative skills combining found objects and materials from the outside with more traditional resources. Bring clothes to get messy in!

 

Year 3 -6 Girls Football Main gate

Develop your footy skills, learn new ones and have fun all at the same time!

Year 3 -6 Boys Football Main gate

Develop your footy skills, learn new ones and have fun all at the same time!

 

Wednesday

Year R Multiskills (30 spaces) Apple Tree class

Get moving in a wide range of activities to develop your sports skills and fitness while having a whole load of fun! Make sure you have trainers and suitable clothing!

 

Year 1 - 2 Football (30 spaces) Ks1 garden

Develop your footy skills, learn new ones and have fun all at the same time!

Year 1 -2 Globe Trotters (10 spaces) Chestnut Tree class

Explore and enjoy learning all about your world through games and activities.

 

Year 3 -4 Globe Trotters (10 spaces) Chestnut Tree class

Explore and enjoy learning all about your world through games and activities.

Year 3 and 4 Drama Club (8 spaces) Main gate

Activities and challenges to develop your acting and performing skills.

 

Year 5 and 6 Drama Club (8 spaces) Main gate

Activities and challenges to develop your acting and performing skills.

Year 3 – 6 Netball Club (30 spaces) Main gate

A great way to develop those hand – eye co-ordination skills and your fitness at the same time!

 

Thursday lunchtime

Year 3 – 6 Choir Club

Share the enjoyment of singing with others and learn some new songs along the way.

 

Thursday

Year R – 2 Gardening Club (16 spaces) Main office

Get those green fingers working in the school garden and learn some important life skills along the way! We have some wellies available but feel free to bring along your own.

 

Year 3 and 4 Dance and fitness Club (16 spaces) Main gate

A chance to get fit and have through dance.

 

Year 5 and 6 Rounders Club (20 spaces) Main gate

The suns out! So get swinging that bat and scoring those rounders while getting fit and having fun!

 

Friday

Year 3 – 6 Gardening Club (16 spaces) Main office

Get those green fingers working in the school garden and learn some important life skills along the way! We have some wellies available but feel free to bring along your own.
