Maths- This week we will be using word problems to recap our learning from this term.

Reading- For reading this week, we will be focusing on the book 'The Rainbow Fish'.

Phonics- Today we will be recapping our phonics skills before learning our new sounds/tricky words for this week.
Recap- can you practice writing all of the new phase 3 sounds that we have learnt? Adults, can you say each sound and children, can you write them? (j,v,w,x,y,z,zz,qu) Don't forget your cursive writing!
Pracitce- Go onto phonicsplay and click 'Picnic On Pluto'. Choose one of our new phase 3 sounds to practice. Read each word and identify if they are real or fake.
Apply- Go onto phonics play a select 'phase 3'. Click on 'sentences' and select 'z' or 'qu'. Apply your phonics skills to read each sentence.
