Lower key stage 2 have been learning about healthy eating this term. They looked at the eat well plate and found out about the 5 food groups and why it’s important to eat a healthy diet. 

They learnt about where food comes from around the world and how it can be processed into food we eat and ingredients we use. 

To understand more about healthy eating choices, they designed and made their own pizzas after taste testing and making a simple margarita pizza with Chef Andrews. They were even lucky enough to go out for lunch at a restaurant where they could see lots more choices for healthy eating and got some inspiration for their own ideas for their pizza toppings.
