Term 5

                                             Week 1

This week we have been reading My Daddies, a story about a child who has two adoptive daddies and through the stories they read they have lots of adventures. We started the week off by drawing pictures of our families.

We used our fine motor skills to practise writing some words from our story.

We had our first PE lesson alongside year R, practising our balancing skills as well as a fantastic hour of boogie tots.

We have had an amazing first week of child-initiated learning in our new classroom this week, and it has been so lovely to see the children so engrossed in their learning. We have been exploring the sand, water, completing puzzles, reading stories, drawing and lots of role play with teddy bears and bottles. We also ended our week by making some chocolate nest cakes to take home.
