Term 2

Throughout this term, Limes will be looking at the book 'Look up!'. We will then be looking at the book 'Rabbit and Bear' before moving onto the book 'Owl and the pussycat'. This term in Phonics, we will be recapping Chapter 4a Sets 1-4 and then consolidating this further to improve reading fluency.  In Maths, we will be learning addition and subtraction as well as shapes.

We went to see a real-life telescope and learnt how they work. It was a wonderful trip to be scientists for the day.

 

 

Term 1

Throughout this term, Limes will be looking at the book 'Georges marvellous medicine'. We will also be looking at the book 'The whale who wanted more'. Our topic focuses will be on animals, music and geography (The United Kingdom). This term in Phonics, we will be learning Chapter 4a Sets 1-4.  In Maths, we will be learning place value.
