Christianity- RE

Throughout the term Oak Trees will be focusing on Christianity and what Christians believe about God. This includes talking about what Christians believe about creation and how humans are stewards of the earth. 

Building churches out of blocks and loose parts. 

Bird and Bug Sculptures- Art

Oak trees will be looking into and creating their own bird and bug sculptures for 2 weeks. They will begin by exploring existing sculptures. They will then be creating their own sculptures using wire and recycling. 

Bugs and Birds - KS1 Cycle A

Practicing bending, twisting and making  shapes with wire. 

Animals- Science 

For 3 weeks Oak trees will be focusing on animals. At first we will look at classifying animals and working out how to tell if an animal is a Bird, Amphibian, Fish, Mammal or Reptile. This will includes exploring animals both in lessons and our learning time. Then we will be diving into Herbivores, omnivores and carnivores and looking at what features they have.

Oak trees went minibeast hunting in Mote park and found some amazing creatures.
