Friends of Greenfields (FOGs)
The Friends of Greenfields (FoGs) are an active group of parents, teachers, governors, friends, grandparents etc. who work hard to create wonderful opportunities for the children at Greenfields. We have an elected committee whose primary role is to direct the focus of these opportunities and ensure our resources are best used to support the children.
"Being a member of the Friends of Greenfields is a rewarding way to actively contribute to my children's education and community. I'm immensely proud of what the team does, and all the money we raise goes straight back to the children. From wrapping Christmas presents, to serving tea and coffee at a wet, windy tournament, seeing the looks on the children's faces makes it all worthwhile." - FoGs Member and Parent
Through our charity status (charity number 1196981), we primarily aim to raise money for the school. These funds help enhance the children's education, assist in improving the school environment and allow additional resources to supplement the children's experiences at Greenfields.
We also assist and help out around school by running and supporting events and occasionally act as additional adults on educational trips.
"Friendship is the golden thread that ties the heart of the world." - John Evelyn
