On a very cold Thursday, our LKS2 girls football team took the field for the first time in the newly created league. It was a very good game of football which warmed those that were watching. Greenfields were 1-0 down, 2-1 down and 3-2 down before running out 5-3 winners! Well done to both teams who played the game in great spirit. Player of the match was Gracie who scored 5 goals! |

Our netball team started their league campaign with a commanding 10-1 away win on a very cold afternoon! 4 of the squad had never represented the school before and did us proud. A special mention to Gracie who played the whole game and is only in Year 3! Her brother Will also had a great game scoring 9 of the 10 goals and becoming player of the match.

Our LKS2 boys kicked off their league campaign with a 6-3 victory away to Tiger. After suffering a defeat in a friendly five days prior to this, the boys responded brilliantly, taking a 4-0 lead inside the opening 10 minutes. Tiger fought back, bringing the score back to 4–3 making it a nervy last 10 minutes. However, Greenfields showed real character and resilience to score two more to end the game 6-3. Special mention to Tyler, who scored 5 goals and was the player of the match. |
