- Write the words: thought, through, work and mouse on slips of paper.
- If you have an outside space, wrap up warm, place the words on the floor and jump around; when you land on a word, say it!
- If you don't or it is wet outside, you can play the game in your home.
4 apply
- Get an adult to read you the two questions below. Try to write the questions as independently as possible.
- Remember to use your phonics to sound out words, as well as remembering any tricky words!
- Where do you work?
- Where is the little mouse who likes to splash?
