Our engaging and informative RE curriculum is designed for us to learn in three main areas:
Believing Expressing Living
BELIEVING - the children explore different symbols, practices and actions contained within a range of religions. They look for similarities and differences between the aspects of these religions; learning to reflect on and explain their significance.
EXPRESSING - the children learn to ask questions about the importance of religion to individuals and communities. They also explore, consider and describe the challenges and benefits of belonging to a community of faith for people across the world.
LIVING - the children develop the confidence to express their own ideas about different world religions and how members of those communities express their faith through what they say and what they do; considering and responding to questions of right or wrong and how different communities can live together successfully.
