Thursday 4th November | Shooting Stars girls' football | A lovely morning was had by our future Greenfields girls at Aylesford Secondary School, in which our team of 10 girls took part in a Shooting Stars football morning. The activates in which the girls took part in was inspired by Disney, where the girls was roleplaying different characters while loving the sport of football. All the girls had a lovely morning and didn't stop smiling the whole time they was there. Thank you Aylesford Secondary for hosting!! | |
Thursday 18th November | Girls' football v West Borough (A) | L 0-1 | What a brilliant first game of the season for a group of girls who have never played together before. It was a close game through out with West Borough scoring their winner with about 5 minutes left on the clock. Leah-Grace made some excellent saves in goal, Lilly and Sabina were our 'wall' in defense with excellent attacking play from Demi, Ivy-May, Layla and Violet. Parisa came on as sub in the second half and made some great tackles. Well done to the whole team, player of the match went to Sabina. |
Thursday 25th November (AM) | LKS2 Kent-Teach Hockey | Our LKS2 hockey squad of 6 was absolutely fantastic for their first ever time of holding a hockey stick. Our Greenfields team plus 5 other schools took part in our second Kent Teach Tournament of the year in which our Greenfields team worked superbly together. Our goal of tournament came from Noah just inside the goal shooting area. A well worked team goal. Our bonus point player at the end of the tournament for showing all the true values of the game went to Aashiyana. Well done Team Greenfields. | |
Thursday 25th November (PM) | UKS2 Kent-Teach Hockey | Our UKS2 hockey teams played in the afternoon, in which for this we entered 2 competitive teams for the tournament. Greenfields Green led by Miss Flisher was fantastic through out the afternoon. They secured theirselves a place in the 3rd/4th play off but narrowly missed out on a top 3 spot by 1 goal. Greenfields Grey led by Mr Borg was brilliant all afternoon, showed good understanding of the game of hockey the further they got into the tournament. Coming third in the their group, it was lovely to watch them play. Player of the tournaments went to Reuben & Tyler. While our bonus point winners of the tournament went to Tillie Rose & Maka. |
