Thursday 17th January | KS1 League match | 8-1 | Our KS1 football team played their first league match away against Bredhurst. Despite a slow start they went on to have a fantastic 8-1 victory! Keep it up boys! |
Friday 18th January | Aquasplash | 4th | A fantastic effort from our swimming team coming 4th place and missing out on a medal by 1 point. We are so proud of them all, participating in Greenfields first ever swimming competition. |
Tuesday 23rd January | KS1 Multi- skills | 3rd | A great effort from our children participating in the multi skills competition today, everyone worked so well as a team. A big well done to our sports leaders who were fantastic in their roles scoring and encouraging teams from 11 Maidstone Schools. |
Friday 25th January | Lesley Barber Cup | Winners | Greenfields played some excellent football in this girls' football competition. They played 4 games, winning 3 and drawing 1. Well done to all of the teams and a massive thank you to Lesley Barber for coming along to present the medals and the trophy! |
Tuesday 29th January | Maidstone schools Squash Tournament | 1st | Well done to our teams that entered the Maidstone Schools Squash Tournament today and especially to Greenfields B who came 1st place by a whole 10 points and are off to the County Finals! |
Tuesday 12th February | Girls football v North Borough | W 2-1 | A really good game between 2 evenly matched teams. Our young team raced into a 2-0 thanks to some brilliant build up play and 2 goals from Libbie. After conceding an early goal in the second half the team defended brilliantly to hold on for the win. Well done to all the players. |
Tuesday 12th February | KS1 Sportshall Multi Skills | 5th | A brilliant effort from our children in KS1 who worked really hard in 10 different events to secure a meritable 5th place today. Well done everyone. |
Thursday 14th February | Kent Teach Cross Country | 1st overall in KS1 and KS2 |
Our runners from Year R to Year 6 were amazing today in this competition between 14 Maidstone Primary Schools. Fantastic performances by so many children and to Violet for coming back from Cornwallis to act as out hare. Medalists were Evie-Rose - Year R, Theo and Mathew - Year R, Olivija - Year 1, Oliver - Year 2 Ava - Year 2, Charlie - Year 3, Fatima - Year 3, India, Nicole and Leah - Year 4 , Leighton - Year 5, TJ - Year 6 |
