3/3	Kent Sport Awards		Tonight we were presented with a Sporting Excellence Award for our outstanding commitment to Sport at Greenfields, at an awards ceremony in Canterbury. We were one of only 15 schools out of a total of 700 in the county to receive this honour.
5/3/19	Maidstone Schools Gymnastics Competition	1st and 2nd	A fantastic performance today from our gymnastic squads. Qualifying places at the Kent County Gymnastics Finals for our KS1 team, LKS2 and UKS2 teams. Individual qualification for Lillie, Alfie, Vinnie, Kezzie, Veronica, Daniel and Ruby-Jane in the disability gymnastics competition as well. Brilliant work by everyone, our best results in this competition.
5/3/19	Football away v Northborough	W 3-1	An excellent result against a very good Northborough team. Well done to Sonny (2) and Travis who scored the goals.
6/3/19	Year 5 football competition at Invicta Grammar School	3rd	A brilliant performance from our Year 5 team. Winning 4 games (2-0, 2-0, 1-0, 3-1) and drawing 2 (0-0, 0-0) resulted in us finishing 3rd overall. Well done to all our players!
7/3/19	Girls football away v Northborough	W 2-0	An excellent performance from the girls team. Excellent goals from Maya and Libbie secured 3 hard fought points against a very good Northborough side.
7/3/19	Boccia County Finals	1st 2nd	Massive congratulations to our HLMD team who became County Champions at the Kent Finals today. They played some fantastic rounds of Boccia to earn a well deserved first place. An excellent effort as well from our PLMD who took silver in their category.
12/3/19	Big Schools Dance Off		A brilliant evening of dance from our LKS2 and UKS2 Dance Squads. Both groups have worked really hard to produce amazing performances and had a brilliant evening performing at the theatre in Folkestone.
14/3	KS1 Football against Oaks Academy and Bredhurst	Won 3 Drawn 1	Some fantastic football today from our KS1 team, who showed excellent teamwork on the pitch. Well done to Rhiley and Ollie for fantastic goals and fore everyone for taking turns to go in goal.
19/3	Maidstone Schools LKS2 Hockey Tournament	1st and 2nd	Our hockey players were outstanding today, with strong competition from 16 teams of children from Maidstone Schools, our teams from Greenfields remained unbeaten to secure a playoff against each other in the final! Well done to everyone for a fantastic team effort and another County Final Place for Greenfields!
19/3	Maidstone Schools UKS2 Hockey Tournament	2nd and 3rd	A draw in the final match against Palace Wood put our teams in 2nd and 3rd place narrowly missing out on that County Final Place we were hoping for! A brilliant effort by everyone involved and well done to our Year 5 team who held their ground against year 6 teams and will be back stronger next year!
28/3/19	Chance 2 Dance Festival		Our KS1 and UKS2 dance troupes put on a fantastic performance tonight at the Stag Theatre in Sevenoaks having practised really hard to create some great routines.
2/4/19	Girls football v Oaks	W 3-1	An excellent 3-1 win in this end of term friendly match with our friends from Oaks Academy. Well done to Kelsi for scoring the 3 goals! Player of the match was Indie with a solid display in the heart of midfield!
3/4/19	Kent Teach / Greenfields KS1 Rapid Fire Tournament	2nd	Well done to our KS1 Rapid Fire cricket team, who put their newly learnt skills from their PE lessons this term to good effect coming a close 2nd place. Great to see over 60 children from KS1 competing today.
4/4/19	Kent Teach/ GReenfields Kwik Cricket Tournament	1st	On a day that definitely was not great cricketing weather, our team battled hard and produced some great bowling to come first place. Well done to the strong opposition from Headcorn and Wateringbury for making this a great competition.
