30th April | Maidstone Schools Handball Competition | 3rd | A brilliant effort by our Year 5 team who were competing against children in Year 6 today. We used excellent teamwork and attacking skills to earn a place in the semi-finals losing narrowly by one goal to a strong Eastborough side. |
1st May | Kent LD Cross Country | 2nd and 3rd | Our runners were amazing today securing 2nd and 3rd place for Hollie and Veronica in the GIrls Under 11 event and a 3rd place for Jamie in the boys Under 11 event. All our runners put in a really resillient performance. |
7th May | Maidstone Schools Tri-Golf Competition | 3rd |
Another 3rd place in a Maidstone Competition for our golfers today, who putted and chipped their way around 12 golf challenges. A close 3rd place with only 4 points between us and the winners! Well done everybody. |
16th May | Maidstone Schools Year 3/4 Kwik Cricket | 1st | Brilliant bowling and batting skills were demonstrated today by our Year 3/4 team from Sycamore Class. Winning the tournament has earned them a place at the Kent County Finals to be played at Ashford in July. |
20th May | Kent LD Ten Pin Bowling Competition | 5th | well done to Leland on winning the most improved player at this event and for the great teamwork shown by the rest of the team at this competition. |

A strong field in the football competition meant that we just lost our to Loose in the quarter finals. They went on to win the tournament. Well done to Kelsi for winning the player of the tournament award.
In the cricket out Year 4 team again produced some fantastic cricket to win the tournament in a close final against Oaks with only 3 runs in it! The compliments were fantastic to hear about the standard and skill level of our children. |
24th May | Kent Teach KS1 Athletics Tournament | 2nd | Some fantastic 400m runs by our KS1 children helped us to achieve 2nd place against a strong Eastborough team. Well done to Celia and Tommy for individual awards in the long jump and javelin. |
