Friday 22nd AprilGirls' football v Tiger (a)L 1-2The girls team go from strength to strength and were very unlucky to lose their most recent league fixture.  They played some outstanding football and were really unlucky to go 1-0 down in the first half.  Before half time it was 1-1 as Devan played a great through ball to Doris, who finished brilliantly.  In the second half Greenfields had most of the ball but just could find another goal and Tiger score with their only really chance of the second half.  Well done to our 11 girls who took part.  Player of the Match - Devan for an excellent performance in midfield (and defense when needed!)
Friday 29th AprilNetball v Leybourne Chase (h)W 17-4Our netball team played their next netball fixture after school against a good Leybourne Chase team.  Greenfields scored first, but Leybourne Chase soon pulled a goal back to make it 1-1.  After this Greenfields really found their groove and won each quarter resulting in an overall result of 17-4.  Well played to both teams!
Thursday 12th MayGirls' football v St John's (h)L 1-4Well done to our girls football team who played in their last league game. They played some brilliant football and showed great team sprit. We lost 4-1 to a very strong St John's team. Player of the match - Devan who played her first ever game in goal and scored!
Monday 23rd MayFootball v South Borough (h)W 4-3Well done to the football team who won their league match against a strong South Borough team.  Greenfields raced into a 3-0 lead before South Borough pulled a goal back.  Greenfields then made it 4-1.  South Borough then hit back to make it 4-2 before scoring with a great headed goal with 2 minutes left to make it 4-3.  A few nervy moments followed, but Greenfields held on for the win!
