Saturday 7th July | Maidstone Football League Finals Day | 1st | After a long season, the four remaining teams all came to together in the heat at Greenfields. After a semi-final and a final Team Greenfields were the winners! This means the league and cup double! Well done to all the players and to Ethan for scoring and excellent hat trick in the 3-0 final win!! |

A great afternoon of friendly rounders matches between the Year 6 children from local Maidstone Schools ended with us receiving awards for demonstrating the schools games values of self-belief and teamwork. |
Monday 2nd July | Maidstone Infant Games | 220 children from all over Maidstone took part in the first ever Infant Games. It was a brilliant success. | |
Friday 29th June | Kent County Squash Finals | 1st | Massive congratulations to our squash team who are the Kent County Squash Champions. Pairing from Leighton and Travis with a brilliant rally ensured we were in the gold medal position. |
Wednesday 27th June | South Eastern Primary Dance Competition | Winners - Most Creative Dance | A night of totally amazing dance from our three dance troupes. The children were amazing and performed to their best. So brilliant to see so many smiling faces and the children really enjoying themselves. |
Wednesday 27th June | Kent County Tri-Golf Finals | 4th | A very close competition saw us achieve our best ever result at the tri-golf finals just missing out on a medal and coming a commendable 4th place. |
Wednesday 27th June | Kent County Infant Agility Finals | 3rd | Just absolutely so proud of our KS1 Infant Agility Team, who worked so hard in a tough competition with the 16 best teams in Kent. To achieve 3rd place against some of the biggest schools in Kent is a fantastic achievement. |
Tuesday 26th June | Aspire Games | A great day to celebrate the teamwork and camaraderie between and Kemsley Primary Academy and Greenfields. Mixed teams from both schools competed in track and fields events, finishing the day with a handball tournament. Many new friends and memories were made over the day. | |
Monday 25th June | Girls football away to Brunswick | Win 3-1, 5-0, 3-0 and 6-0 | We took two teams over to Brunswick. One team was a year 6 only team, who played their last games for the school winning 3-1 and 5-0. The second team was made up of year 3,4 and 5 children and won their games 3-0 and 6-0. A special mention for Kelsi who scored two hat tricks and Suzie who came out of goal for the final 4 minutes and scored! |
Thursday 21st June | Maidstone Hockey Club | 4th | Well done to some of our less experienced hockey placers who produced some fantastic skill and teamwork to come a close 4th place in the hockey world cup. |
Wednesday 20th June | Maidstone Schools Tag Rugby Festival | Self-Belief | Our year 6 team played against teams from Palace Wood, Hollingbourne, St Johns, St Katherine's and more Park in an exciting tag rugby tournament. Excellent teamwork from Bradley, Matthew and Jayden ensured we scored some great trys, along with some excellent running on the wing from Joseph. |

The hard work and extra lunchtime practice by some of our gymnasts in preparation for the county finals, paid off with some fantastic results against the other top schools in Kent. Well done everyone on such a brilliant achievement. |
Monday 18th June | Sevenoaks Year 3/4 Kwik Cricket Tournament | 3rd | Fantastic batting from Travis and Jamie who produced some fantastic 6's along with Kelsi's bowling to give us 3rd place in the tournament today. Well done to Travis and Suzie who worked really hard as captains to lead the team. |
Monday 18th June | Maidstone Schools Kwik Cricket Tournament | 2nd | Some excellent cricket was played throughout the day. Greenfields one every game until losing by 10 runs in the final to a brilliant Brunswick team. |
Friday 15th June | Kent Kwik Cricket Tournament | 1st and 2nd | Great teamwork today from our children, producing some brilliant fielding and batting to win the top 2 places in the competition |
Thursday 14th June | Greenfields football tournament | 1st | Our team played some brilliant football today to win through their group. After a tense quarter finals which went to penalties, they then produced a strong semi- final performance. Harrison produced an amazing 'golden goal' assisted by Ben in extra time against St Johns in the final to make them overall winners of the tournament. |
Wednesday 13th June | Greenfields girls football tournament | 2nd | A brilliant team performance by all of our girls saw Greenfields come 2nd place in the summer tournament. Great defensive play by Milena and a fantastic goal from Kelsi ensured we took home the silver medal. |
Tuesday 12th June | Year 3/4 Kent hockey finals | 3rd | Our year 3/4 team played really well against strong competition from the best school hockey teams in Kent. We worked brilliantly as a team and lost out to strong competition in the finals. |
Monday 11th June - PM | Greenfields netball tournament | Quarter finalists | A great start from our netball team with some fantastic shooting from Jayden and Sydney brought us 2 strong victories. Tough opposition from the eventual winners East Borough and other finalists Bredhurst meant that we went out in the quarter finals. |
Monday 11th June - AM | Greenfields KS1 football tournament | 5th | A real team effort from our KS1 children today. Great goals from Riley Spice, Riley Knell and Thomas Terry and some excellent defence from Oliver and Ernis in goal meant we should have achieved a higher placing than we did. Better luck next time boys. |
Friday 8th June | Mini world cup | 3rd in group | We were invited to take part in the mini world cup at the Gallagher Stadium. Although our year 6 children were not available we jumped at the chance! Our young team played some excellent football winning 2 of their 4 games. |
Wednesday 6th June | Cricket match - away to Bredhurst | L 245-242 | An excellent game of cricket played by two very talented teams. There was only 3 runs in it and the result could have gone either way. We are looking forward to the home fixture in July. |
Tuesday 5th June | Year 4 mini Olympics | 1st and 3rd | A fantastic effort by all our girls today but a huge congratulations must go to Emma Ashlee and Ebonie John who came 1st and 3rd out of 28 girls in the mini Olympics. They were scored on the 400m, 100m, long jump, javelin, speed stepper, speed bounce and triple jump. |
