Monday 13th June	Summer KS2 football tournament at Greenfields	4th in group	The KS2 football tournament was the start of the annual summer tournaments held at Greenfields. Team Greenfields played some brilliant football and played in a great spirit but unluckily missed out on the quarter finals. Well done to Parkway who were the overall winners.
Monday 13th June	Year 5/6 tennis competition	6th	This was the first ever tennis competition Team Greenfields have entered. Greenfields were to only team who do not play tennis outside of school. With this in mins 6th place out of 9 teams was a fantastic outcome. The children really enjoyed the experience. Thank you to Miss Flisher who took the team and runs tennis club in school.
Tuesday 14th June	Summer KS1 football tournament at Greenfields	Winners!	Well done to our KS1 football team who won the summer competition! All of our players were brilliant and worked so hard. Well done to Allington who were the runners-up
Thursday 16th June	Summer KS2 netball tournament at Greenfields	Winners!	It was very successful week for Team Greenfields as the KS1 football win was quickly followed up by our success at the KS2 netball! The team played 6 brilliant games, winning them all. Well done to all the players who have worked so hard this year. They also have the league finals day and the cup final to look forward to later in the term. Congratulations to Trottiscliffe who finished second.
Thursday 23rd June	KS2 sports taster day		All of our Year 6 children were able to join the taster day held on our school field. The children had the chance to try lots of sports and were really pleased to receive a medal at the end!
Friday 24th June	KS1 sports taster day		We took 30 KS1 children to K Sports for the KS1 taster day. The also had a brilliant time and really enjoyed the American Football! They were also delighted to get a medal!
Friday 24th June	Summer KS2 Girls football tournament at Greenfields	Runners Up!	The final summer competition of 2022 was girls football. There were 7 teams taking part and all of them played some excellent football. Greenfields entered two teams to allow some of our younger players to have the chance to play. After winning 4 matches, drawing 1 and losing 1 Greenfields Black were eventually the runners up. Greenfields Green were delighted to win their final group game which left them, 6th overall. Well done to Madginford who were the overall winners. The Greenfields player of the tournament was Layla who played brilliantly in defense and scored the winning goals in our final 2 group games (both 1-0 wins).
