Starter – please use the following link - Sentence Substitution (phonicsplay.co.uk). choose 3 different sentences to complete (ones which you haven’t completed before)
Remind parent or sibling what a contraction is and what punctuation is used.
Task 1 - Using your knowledge from yesterday’s videos, can you match the words to their contracted forms.
Task 2 – Can you rewrite the sentences using the contracted form of words eg
He could not go to bed until his parents had read him a story.
He couldn’t go to bed until his parents had read him a story.

- Below is a song/video called 'Lots of Different Toys' and the tune is to 'Twinkle Twinkle Little Star'.
- Your challenge is the learn the lyrics (in the document below the video) and practise singing it.

Task 1 - Time cards
Cut out and match the activity/event to the correct unit of time. As an additional challenge, put in order from the smallest to the greatest amount of time. We are sure this activity will generate some great discussion (perhaps a few arguments too!).
